Jesus Loves to Answer Prayer

Lyrics

Come, my soul, thy suit prepare,
Jesus loves to answer pray’r;
He Himself has bid thee come,
Therefore will not say thee nay.

Chorus:

Say thee nay, yes, say thee nay,
Jesus loves to answer pray’r, answer pray’r,
Loves to answer pray’r,
Answer pray’r, yes, answer pray’r,
Therefore will not say thee nay.

Thou art coming to a King,
Large petitions with thee bring,
For His grace and pow’r are such,
None can ever ask too much.

(Chorus)

Lord, I come to Thee for rest,
Take possession of my breast;
There thy blood-bought right maintain,
And without a rival reign.

(Chorus)
