Christ Jesus Died for Sinners

Lyrics

There’s a wonderful theme in the gospel tongue,
As e’er was heard, as e’er was sung,
And thro’ all the world the message rung,
‘Christ Jesus died for sinners.’

Chorus:

Tell the message o’er again,
Jesus died for sinful men;
Sound the word and make it plain,
‘Christ Jesus died for sinners.’

’Tis a wonderful theme, and I oft have read
How Jesus bowed His weary head;
‘’Tis finished,’ to the world He said,
‘Christ Jesus died for sinners.’

(Chorus)

’Tis a wonderful theme, that the Lord should give
His life that I might life receive;
And now He bids me look and live,
‘Christ Jesus died for sinners.’

(Chorus)
