Jesus Died for Me

Lyrics

Whene’er I cross the stream of death,
I’ll be happy with the blest,
For Jesus, Christ, the Son of God,
Came to earth to die for me.
I love to tell of that sweet home,
O glory to the Lamb of God,
And this I know, I’m on my way,
To the home prepared for me.

For some sweet day, some happy day,
I will join the happy throng,
Farewell, dear friends, I’m going home,
For my Saviour bids me come.
For I’m a pilgrim on my way,
To that sweet home of endless day,
O let us sing and praise the Lord,
For the gift of His dear Son.
